Notice of Campaign Pause- Tracie Burke for U.S. Senate

This notice of campaign pause is allowing for adjustments to my campaign for the U.S. Senate. Thank you to my incredible team and supporters. We have run a campaign that has brought light to corruption in Louisiana and challenged the status quo. We have worked harder than anyone else in this race.

But we have to be honest about where we are. To ensure this campaign is positioned to win in the future, I am pausing our active campaigning for this election. This pause will make the best use of the resources you have generously given.

We are taking this time to restructure our approach and analyze our progress. We want to make sure we are running the most effective campaign possible.

This is notice of campaign pause is a strategic pause, not an end. The issues we are fighting for are crucial. Judicial integrity, protecting free speech, Social Security, and healthcare are too important to give up on. Thank you for sticking with us. We will be back in touch with a new plan to win the U.S. Senate in 2028.

Funds collected during a pause can be used for future campaign efforts. We encourage you to continue to donate to the Tracie Burke Campaign Fund. Together we have one strong voice!

Discovered Collusion, Bribery, Medicaid Provider Fraud- Tracie Burke for U.S. Senate

Discovered Collusion, Medicaid Provider Fraud internal link

As a Whistleblower for the U.S. government, I discovered Collusion, Medicaid Provider Fraud, and bribery reportedly committed by Louisiana State Representative Adrien Fisher. In 2023, I submitted evidence to the Louisiana AG’s office, showing collusion in the Foster v. Fisher case. It seems the collusion between Alan Breithaupt, attorney for Defendant Adrian Fisher, and James Rountree, helped Fisher in a hearing. Further, Breithaupt filed retaliatory sanctions against the victim, in violation of the Whistleblower Protection Act. This information is intended for the existing investigative folder of Adrian Fisher’s suspected Medicaid Provider Fraud. Additionally, it alleges bribery and commingling of funds involving LCM Financial Inc.

Recognized by the NWC, I’m a fierce frontline defender of those brave enough to expose corruption. Unfortunately, powerful forces are actively working to dismantle the very laws that protect these courageous investigators. Thus, your support is essential to my mission of safeguarding those who speak out against fraud, waste, and abuse.

As a U.S. Senator, I will continue my work to defend the Whistleblower Protection Act. My work emphasizes protections against retaliation and awards for tipsters.

I urgently need your financial support. Your support will allow me to continue my vital work—advocating for strong whistleblower protections. It will also help in educating the public and providing free access to legal representation for whistleblowers. Your donation will directly contribute to my efforts to protect whistleblower rights. Every contribution makes a significant difference. Donate today to make an impact.

Support H.R.7412 – Put America on Commission Act 2026

Support H.R.7412 - Put America on Commission Act of 2026 internal link

As a candidate for the U.S. Senate, and as a whistleblower for the U.S. government, I support actions like H.R.7412 – Put America on Commission Act 2026. Basically, H.R. 7412 amends the Small Business Act to set up the Office of Whistleblower Awards, and for other purposes. On Feb 5, 2026, the House introduced the bipartisan Bill, then referred it to the House Committee on Small Business. Republican Representative Roger Williams sponsored the Bill and Democrat Representative Johnny Olszewski, Jr. co- sponsored it.

Recognized by the National Whistleblower Center, I advocate for those brave enough to expose government corruption, fraud, and abuse. My work emphasizes awards, while the Trump administration is working to dismantle the very laws that protect these courageous individuals. For instance, complaints from reclassified employees will now be handled internally by agency general counsel, moving away from independent oversight. Unfortunately, this move changes whistleblower procedures, moving investigations from the independent Office of Special Counsel to internal agency reviews.

Your donation will directly contribute to my efforts to protect your whistleblower rights and to speed up awards.

Protect WTCNO Partnership With Norway

Protect WTCNO Partership With Norway internal link

We must protect The World Trade Center New Orleans (WTCNO) partnership with Norway. Recently, Donald Trump said Norway didn’t give him a Nobel Peace Prize, so he no longer had to emphasize peace. His reckless and irresponsible threats and his mental decay have a negative impact on Louisiana partnerships. As a U.S. Senator, I will work to protect Louisiana’s independent agreements. Globally, I will support bilateral in force treaties at the federal level.

It is very crucial that we protect our independence in Louisiana by protecting our partnership with Norway with integrity.

In November 2025, the World Trade Center New Orleans (WTCNO) signed a 3-year memorandum of understanding with Innovation Norway. They are the Norwegian government’s agency for development. This strategic partnership focuses on expanding cooperation in clean technology and maritime innovation. It includes workforce readiness, and global trade between Louisiana and Norway.

Innovation Norway, owned by Norway’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and the nation’s county authorities. This authority supports entrepreneurs and enterprises across the country and seeks to accelerate clean technology and sustainable economic development.

Protect WTCNO Partnership With Norway

As a US Senator, I will oppose Trump’s unlawful actions his threatening our agreements in Louisiana. On a State level, I will work to protect Louisiana’s agreement with Norway. On a federal level, I will work to protect our bilateral in force treaties, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe.

If you support my work to protect our independence for Louisiana and to honor our agreements with Norway, join us! DONATE to the Tracie Burke Campaign Fund and get involved to see how your dollars work!

Thank you to all who already donated. Keep up the good work by spreading the word. Together we have one strong voice!

Q & A With Tracie Burke for U.S. Senate- 2-10-2026

In this Q & A, I answer questions primarily focused on our Palestine foreign policy. Additionally, I respond to my opponent’s comments about NEA. I strongly support human rights, favoring a diplomatic two-state solution to the conflict, particularly supporting U.S. recognition of the State of Palestine. I also call for an end to strong U.S. political and financial support for Israel. Also, I support S.Res.68, which aims to prevent the U.S. from deploying troops or funds to take over Gaza and restrict weapons sales to Israel. Further, I criticize my opponent, Bill Cassidy. As usual, he is “politically grandstanding” by unfairly attacking the National Educators’ Association (NEA) over its programming on Palestine. Also, I defend the NEA’s work with Education International (EI) to advocate for a peaceful resolution and protect education communities. Finally, I end with an appeal for donations to my campaign to “stop the genocide in Gaza.”

This video references my article, Impeaching Pete Hegseth– H. RES. 935

On December 9, 2025, Representative Shri Thanedar submitted H. RES. 935– Impeaching Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense, for high crimes and misdemeanors. Then, it was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Specifically, the arguments center on allegations of unlawful military actions, mishandling of classified information, and abuse of power.

I hope you enjoyed the Q & A segments. I greatly value your feedback and support. Together we have one strong voice!

Restore Funding for FSCS

Restore Funding for the FSCS Program internal link

As a U.S. Senator, I will work to restore funding for the Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) program, which expired in December. The FSCS program provided support for the planning, implementation, and operation of full-service community schools. These services are essential for all students and families in our community to thrive.

Programs With Vocational Appeal.

As Executive Assistant for Gulf Coast Teaching Family Services, I worked as a behavior specialist. I collected data and information from clients with disabilities. Additionally, I attended interdisciplinary meetings to collaborate with other professionals to solve problems and improve outcomes.

During that time, I founded the Hairstylists Association for Individual Rehabilitation (H.A.I.R., Inc.), an extraordinary advance in community service. It has helped thousands of children and adults from many organizations.

Additionally, I created a program for H.A.I.R., Inc that focuses on a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. This approach allows students to reach their highest potential by providing community based services and programs. This teaching model is the most effective way to learn life skills for an independent and productive life. Read the HAIR write up here.

Restore Funding for FSCS

Unfortunately, the Department of Education has terminated the Full Service Community Schools grants. Republicans’ misguided ideologies are denying our students the gold standard in education. As U.S. Senator, I will work to restore funding for FSCS.

FSCS in Louisiana (Example)

Louisiana received federal FSCS funding in January 2023. A project by The Orchard Foundation and Avoyelles Parish School Board transformed two rural elementary schools into community hubs. The aim was to create farm-to-school programs and integrated support systems. Largely a success, it led to better attendance, higher test scores, and greater student success.

Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) Lawsuits

Two lawsuits in Chicago are challenging the U.S. Department of Education’s decision to cancel about $60 million in grants for programs like FSCS. The grants offer academic, health and social services, particularly in low-income and rural communities. The lawsuit, which was filed Dec. 29, says the cancellation of the funding was unlawful and violates the Administrative Procedure Act.

If you support the Full Service Community Schools program, DONATE to the Tracie Burke Campaign Committee today! Then, get involved to see how your dollars work! Thank you!

OBBBA Violates the ADA- Tracie Burke for U.S. Senate

OBBBA Violates the ADA internal link

OBBBA violates the ADA by failing to offer adequate benefits for participants formerly identified as disabled.

As President of the Louisiana Civic Coalition, I recently took action against Governor Jeff Landry, the LDH, and the USDA. Specifically, I targeted the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) with a pre action notice of a class action lawsuit. I argued that failing to give adequate benefits for disabled participants violates the Americans With Disabilities Act and Medicaid Act. Follow the link to read the Notice. Pre Action Notice Louisiana Civic Coalition vs State of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, LDH, USDA, XYZ; Pursuant RS 13:5101; and Injunctive Relief pursuant to Americans With Disabilities Act, Medicaid Act, Rehabilitation Act

Fortunately, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) promptly resolved the matter, for now. The LDH’s response was even accompanied by an apology. SNAP recipients, formerly identified as disabled, are adequately receiving their benefits, again.

Unfortunately, though, the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) waivers are still in jeopardy. According to the USDA’s website, they are in the process of “providing guidance.” This includes changes to the ABAWD exception criteria and ABAWD waiver criteria.

Routinely, disabilities are determined by doctors and judges, not by the USDA, because the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Medicaid are two separate entities. So, this raises concerns for disabled citizens having adverse effects on other benefits, like Social Security and Medicaid.

This Republican ideology creates an upward transfer of wealth and rolls back essential services for disabled Louisiana citizens. As a Democratic U.S. Senator, I will demand a repeal of OBBBA.

OBBBA Violates the ADA

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) of 2025, changes the work requirements for SNAP able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs). OBBBA violates the Americans With Disabilities Act by failing to offer adequate benefits for participants formerly identified as disabled.

This calls for a united front to repeal OBBBA. We must strengthen our resolve to prevent Republicans from causing further harm to vulnerable communities in Louisiana with their exclusions.

Uncovered Misuse of Government Property in Lafitte

Identified Misuse of Government Property

I uncovered misuse of government property in Jean Lafitte, Louisiana. Recently, an investigation by the JPOIG confirmed my allegations that some volunteer firefighters were living at the Lafitte fire stations. This practice raised concerns about the use of public funds and oversight. While firefighters typically spend time at the station for shifts, the JPOIG found evidence of full-time residency by some volunteers. The findings prompted the Parish to focus on issues related to the management and oversight of fire protection services.

During the process, Lafitte’s former Republican Mayor, Tim Kerner, Jr., was non-compliant and he violated the Whistleblower Protection Act. Kerner brutally tried to prevent me from asking for a formal investigation and review. Then, he deliberately mishandled the complaint, as a courtesy to the firefighters. Kerner went to great lengths to try to undermine my efforts to resolve complaints made by witnesses in Jean Lafitte.

I’m not afraid of tough issues. As Democratic U.S. Senator, I will continue to fight against misuse of government funds and government property, no matter the political party. Fraud schemes like the LBCP’s are the costliest for taxpayers. If elected, my work will continue to promote laws that support the Whistleblower Protection Act. I will continue to make sure government employees follow the rules for using taxpayers’ money.

Uncovered Misuse of Government Property in Lafitte

The Lafitte Fire station is part of Barataria Crown Point (LBCP) Volunteer Fire Companies (VFC). Situated on the West Bank, it is located within Jefferson Parish’s Fire Protection District No. 4. While the non-profit raises some funds, taxpayers are the primary source of the operating dollars for LBCP. District No. 4 generates approximately $773,000 a year in tax revenue for fire prevention and suppression. The Parish makes monthly transfers of approximately $58,600.

As a U.S. Senator, I will promote laws that strengthen protections for tipsters. As your Senator, my work will continue to focus on ensuring truth tellers are safe, while safeguarding taxpayer money.

The Wealthiest Owe American Taxpayers $1.8 Trillion Dollars

The Wealthiest Owe American Taxpayers $1.8 Trillion Dollars internal link

The wealthiest owe American taxpayers $1.8 trillion dollars because they have become largely exempt from federal taxes, which contributed significantly to the country’s $1.8 trillion shortfall in 2024, compared to the $46 trillion in wealth owned by the wealthiest Americans. Apparently, the wealthy avoid taxable income through borrowing against appreciated assets instead of selling them. Additionally, inheritances and gifts are excluded from income tax. Furthermore, the estate tax fails as a “sweep-up” mechanism due to loopholes and political reluctance to reform it. The shift from taxable dividends to non-taxable growth in stock value due to stock buybacks increases the problem. Also, unlimited tax benefits for charitable giving exist through vehicles like private foundations. Payroll taxes borne primarily by working Americans become the major source of federal revenue.

To create a fairer system, as the U.S. Senator, I will champion taxing gains on appreciated assets at death or gift. I will repeal the ineffective estate tax. I will make inheritances and gifts liable to income tax. Additionally, I will reform charitable giving rules to guarantee public services. I will also work to cap wealthy donors’ tax deductions.

Raising the Minimum Wage for Louisiana

Raising the Minumum Wage in Louisiana internal link

Raising the minimum wage for Louisiana is paramount because we still rely on the federal $7.25 minimum wage, despite State legislators repeatedly trying to pass bills to raise it. For example, recent proposals (like SB206 in 2025) often face political hurdles and have yet to become law.

Senate Bill 206 failed because it was compromised. It died in the mostly Republican Senate Labor and Industrial Relations Committee after being introduced. The bill was compromised by Republicans’ prioritizing their ideological beliefs, rather than the public interest. Their decision to oppose raising the minimum wage was a choice, not an inevitability, and harms everyone.

Consider this, working full-time (40 hours/week) at $7.25 an hour equals approximately $15,080 per year, before taxes. Before taxes! The average annual cost of living in Louisiana is around $48,000-$50,000 for an individual. It varies greatly by family size and location.

This inequality is unsustainable. Raising the minimum wage in Louisiana is essential for creating the much needed income for our communities to thrive. As a Democratic U.S. Senator, I will work to raise the federal standard. This will ensure that all Louisiana citizens can earn a living comparable to those in other states.

If you agree that raising the minimum wage in Louisiana is a priority, DONATE to the Tracie Burke Campaign Committee. Then, get involved to see how your dollars work. Together we have one strong voice!
